Abbreviations are commonly used, so for a first cousin 4 times removed would be 1C4R (so much easier when you’re typing them out all the time!)
In our family, Em and Frankie are first cousins (1C), Jasmine, Jacob, Joshua, Elijah and Mariella are first cousins once removed (1C1R) to Frankie, Jo and Ally. Andy is Great Aunt to all the little ones. Aunty Beryl is great great Aunt to them all…….
